The year must have been 1956 or 57 because I transferred to CA in 1958 and it may have been Toledo. I don't remember too many details from back then. When I 'retired' from RC in 1965...

Yes I remember the Detroit! I went by Hal DeBolts place in Buffalo on the way to Detroit. There was about 6 to 8 feet of snow in detroit and I was not sure that we would be able to make...

I agree! She is a model hired by Dick Tichner who was a free
lance photographer. He supplied many pictures for Model
Magazines, mostly RC Modeler. I will have the Phantom
story...
