Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a brand new ASP 4 stroke (65, or a 91 maybe), but no one I know has ever flown one before? Any experiences, godd, bad, or ugly?

Any SPAD Bipe is a good bipe as far as I'm concerned!! :D :D

I've noticed a "need" for more power in my Bipes, too. So far I've flown an MDS .78 and a Super Tigre .61. Both have been...

The RailBipe Returns......and flies great

Mr. G,

All in all sounded like a good day. A few fixes.....a few tweaks...and back in the air.

I noticed some ground handling issues as well with the RB2, but the large wheels and a wider...

Semi symmetrical wing

I've been building symmetrical wings for awhile now. I think they're much easier and cleaner to build than any other. Follow the method Chris shows, it works great.

As far as attaching the...

The RailBipe Returns......and flies great

After the first one literally blew into a tree (lost power - found a split hose INSIDE the tank) and "landed" (bent struts, cracked top wing spar..) I decided to rebuild the entire plane. New fuse...

Acrylic Tubes for Fuselage

I say give it a shot and see what happens....just be sure to set your CG as accurately (?) as possible. I've had to make a "best guess" on some original designs (with mixed results), but when in...

Strange thing is, most of the guys that fly at my field love to see what I'm going to come up with next.

Some were skeptical, some were amused, but after seeing a couple of the SPADS fly, they...

Old SPADS never die.....they just morph into other SPADS....

One thing I love about SPADing is the way you can recreate a "fallen bird". :D

I took the wing from my Gee Bee (after an unfortunate meeting with a large piece of earth...) and another QHOR...
