then i would get the RC8 rtr because you will know how to work on it and the parts are the same. that way you can stock up on rc8 spare part and not parts for 2 buggies

it should. you might have to do it again to set the fail safe. only set to 50-70% break and stright wheels. full break could mess up your servo

make sure the ground wire is connected correctly. I hooked mine up wrong once and it would do nothing. connect the ground wire to a motor mount screw.

I just ordered the RC8 RTR from tower. When I was at the LHS today they had a SC8. I lifted the lid to look at the radio box and it had a frequency of 26.xxx. I thought this came with a FM radio....

blue thunder race uses 10% syn oil. I broke in a os .18 using same fual you used and had to lean the needle 3/4 of a turn just to get it to turn over and not stall out. Lean the HSN till it starts...

I have been running my firestorm with the 3.0 with 20% nitro and same issues. still think it needs to break in a bit more. mine spins out all the time. the motor has power for a light car/truck.

I just broke in mty HPI firestorm with a pull start. I have 4 band aids covering skined blisters now. this is my first pull start and my last. I ordered the roto start back plate today.

i tryed a med plug today and ran like a champ for 4 tanks till sit stalled out and would not start again. I think the plug blew again. I was running it rich still. The oil leak stoped also

i tryed the plug but it was another cold plug. The oil leaking could have happened at beginning of break in before the bearing go sealed from heat, I only noticed a little after the day was over
