Esc over heating

I'm running a turnigy l5055c 700kv on a turnigy 85a esc 6s 5000mah battery 12x6, 12x8 13x7-3 props.
at about 3 min of flight the esc shuts down motor power and esc is so hot you can't touch it.

just got to vent
i think the return policy of cermark sucks. i ordered a pitts s2b got it got it all put together & 1 of the blind nuts in the wing is way to big the strut bolt will not tighten up....

im getting 5780 rpms at W.O.T. & 22lbs thrust 22 x 10...

what muffler did you go with. i home build a steel head pipe & used one of those roung lown mower mufflers. looks like crap but it works good enough for now.

well i got 2 dualsky 2200mah 11.1 volt 20c batteries. WOW what a power incress. come to find out the batteries i had or 10c 1500. now i realy like the way it flies. just thought i would share.

i used a friends battery pack today it was a dualsky 2250 20c. woke that motor up. being new to electric what is 15c & 20c. what is better. what handles more draw

my brio is 1lbs 13oz it may be a prop issue im running a 11x7 per manual. im new to the E power. but it just seems week. from about 3/4 throttle to full no change in rpm's.

e flight 480 outrunner. i got this motor when i boutgh my brio. not enough power for it. what would be a good plane to put it on. if you are running it what plane & lipos are you running.

i just bought a brio 10 on saturday. got the complete best recommended setup on page 5 of the manual. it flies great but seems to lack a little power, come tuesday i will be ordering the high power...

find out what the asp weighs the go to tower look at the 61 specs if the 90 weighs more than 6oz more than the 61 i would not run it.

my g 26 started out on a cermark pits great combo. the last plane it was on was a cermark sukhoi. that thing was awsome. flew like it wa on rails all the way to the ground LOL. bad battery switch.

i dont even choke my g26. i flip the switch put the starter to it it will fire up in about 4-6 sec. every time.
