If you go with the 2.5 you also have to put the throttle linkage mount on. If you are going to want to use the stock exhaust and linkages I would go with an OS .15 CVRX it has got plenty of power and...

Had the same problem with mine so I took the motor out and took it apart and resealed everything with Hitemp RTV now it runs like a dream, they may have good o-rings on everthing but that still...

I haven't had a problem with mine as of yet, I have run almost 2 gallons of fuel thru it so far and it keeps running better with every tankful, temps seem to have leveled off at about 235-240 degrees...

question about shock pistons in AE shocks(maybe all shocks i think...)

The assoc. #2's have a smaller hole than the 3's so the oil will have a harder time going thru those compared to the 3's. You could try and put RPM makes dual stage pistons for the AE shocks that...

I jumped my ford bronco II with my Maxx didn't get a pik tho. it had to have been 8-9 ft. in the air landed it on all four too.

Not sure what the EK4 setup is but my T-Maxx I run 60 wt. oil in INTEGY piggyback shocks with four integy blue springs and four Big bore traxxs red springs seems to work pretty well

Ya me too on the bad bearing bit from the factory. Like Rewind said make sure you seal the back plate with silicone and also around the base of the carb when you put it back on

few questions concerning digital servos and PCM radios.....

Don't know much about the PCM radios but the digital servos will work on 4.8 volts just not long it is better to use them with a full 6 volts or more they really suck the juice out of my reciever...

Yes it could be the problem Mine was running eratic temps and when I took the carb off I noticed the same thing that the inner O-Ring was cut in half so I replaced it and haven't had a problem since....

One thing to get to make the stock Maxx easier to drive is a good steering servo like the Hitec 945 MG or 925 MG as far as racing go out there and kick some butt ! A stock Maxx can win if you drive...

Bow ties work on just about any surface but the step pin type work great on really loose dirt the Panther Meat grinder"S are even better than the mulchers cuz they are lighter and the new Sportmaxx...

I have had both the old Maxx and now the new Maxx . The old one I put in a 15CVRX OS motor and was untouchable with it. At my local track I could run lap times the same as the guys with the gas...

First of all start with your carb settings back at the breakin point which on my Maxx was 3 1/2 turns out on the HSN and 2 1/2 on the LSN then check your pinch test on the fuel line if it dies right...

Which 20% Nitro fuel to use?

I'm running Byron Race 20% with Nitro Blast additive, my motor runs about 20 to 30 degrees cooler than it did without the Nitro Blast.
