RE: Truggy vs Buggy?

We don't have any Xray truggies out here but from what I've read, they are top notch.

As far as Mugen or Losi goes, we have a mix of both out here and they are both great truggies, you can't go...

RE: Video of New Go-Tech .25 Truggy engine

We're running 30% trinity.

We broke it in with the medium plugs that came with it. It uses any short shaft plug, so any OS compatible plug will work. I'll be running it with an OS #8 after it's...

RE: Video of New Go-Tech .25 Truggy engine

Just bought one and I'm breaking it in now! It's supposed to be a great motor.

I'm putting it in an mbx5-t.

RE: RC10Gt2 vs. XXX-Nt RTR2

The AE owners will say AE and the Losi owners will say Losi. Either one is a great car. The Losi comes with a better radio and I believe the AE comes with a more powerful motor and is known for being...

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

Hi Dannthenitroman, they are all Factory team kits at this point. The RTR is going to be out soon. I haven't heard any mention about AE making just a "team kit".

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

I'm using two 5625 MG's. They are good servos for around $50 but the some people claim that they don't last (I've had mine for over a year and had zero problems). I want a little faster steering...

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

ThunderbirdJunkie explained what I was talking about very nicely lol. Just make sure you put washers where the hinge pins are being held in on the arms (front and rear, you'll see what I'm talking...

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

I've got mine and started building it last night. So far the build has been incredibly easy and straight forward. A few tolerances were off so be careful not to strip the plastic.

One tip I...

"Just tell her it's your money" - You aren't married are you? LOL It doesn't work that way.... If I tell her it's my money.... I don't want to think about the outcome...

Tire Wear Question

Hey guys,

How long does a good set of tires last on a typical 1/8th scale track (no sugar) for avid racers?

I'm asking because I currently race 1/10th scale and only have to replace my...

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

It's sad to admit this but the thing that excites me most about this truck is the battery box (smack me)!

Yay for the batteries staying in and not looking like McGiver touched it and only had a...

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*

Awesome!

Aren't the front wheels supposed to be quick release as well?

I noticed the rear hub was plastic and the AD2 is aluminum, not sure if that matters or not, but it looks like it...

RE: caster buggie

Caster ZX-1 isn't a bad buggy but it's not one of the best either. This is their first buggy (as mentioned above) so the kits had some missing pieces, etc. Basically all the things you would expect...

JP-1 if you need more bottom end and JP-2 for top end

I used a JP-1 with my mill (actually selling the pipe now) and it worked great. We run on a tight technical track where I'm from. The 086...

RE: Team Losi Adam Drake..3!?

ST won't die for along time. Why? Because they are cheap to run and cheap to fix in comparison to 1/8 scale and MT.

So what if the pro class is shrinking? The major races bring in the hardcore...

RE: Which Engine between these would you choose and why?

I'd go with the OS RG .21 (And not just because I'm selling a good one in the RCU marketplace lol).

I think the OS RG is a solid motor both in build quality and performance. It's really easy to...

RE: so hard to decide in which truck

If your going to race I'd sway towards the xxx-nt. If your going to bash I'd look at the MT2 or Jato.

Just depends what your going to do with it.
