Thats kinda what I was thinking. and those other brands are well proven engines I might add too. I hope this new engine does good for them because they need to do something. Glow is yesterdays news.

Alot of the reason they are built that way is because 90% of the fixed wing flyers cry about weight and how light they need their planes because their scared their wing loading will be out of their...

Its not so much the fact that Im being negative, its the fact the way this engine is set up with a front mounted carb (and price) leaves little room for a stream line cowl. I had a MVVS 26 on a AW...

sounds like you need add a couple of degrees of down in the engine. not mix in elev.

I think you will find it will be fairly easy to cover. Though I will say you will front of it in a few pieces! as well as the chin and depending on how you cover it you can get the wing fillets in...
