Is it possible to get a true land speed reading on the display screen ?
I know that my iPhone app Road Bike calculates the land speed of my bicycle.
Will the STI GPS sensor send the true land speed?

The inexpensive way is to buy a good used Ace Nautical Commander radio. You can post a wanted ad here and other rc forums.
These are great radios and can be converted from the 75MHz to 2.4GHz...

The best would be a Robbe F-14 Navy, Robbe F-16 Navy or better yet a Graupner M19.
The Robbe radios can be upgraded to a twin-screw stick for marine use.

Where have you found the blue closed cell marine foam?
It is a much better foam to use for hullballast because it forms curved...
