I think that a hard bump or spin causes the carb to not atomize the fuel and drip it instead. Not completely sure, but it would make sense.

No that isn't really hot enough to melt them. By putting them in there and turning the oven off, they actually never reach 450.

you could use 9 1.2 volt NiCd cells from radioshack and solder and shrink wrap them yourself. THen you'll know that the pack will fit perfectly.

The rubber gasket fits over the exhaust tip and the manifold fits over that. Then the springs go around the whole engine and hook in the holes on the manifold....

If you can find up a 40 mm radiator, you can use a 5v fan from all electronics. Provided your receiver pack has a high capacity, you won't need more batteries.

Great idea, replace the switch on the EzStart with a linkage activated switch, then just find a place for a battery pack.

Not sure, but perhaps you're talking about a header tank. That's all i know. I beleive it has something to do with equalizing pressure or something similar.
