Flitz is also really good at removeing scratches and polishing surfaces from plastic to metals.  It has really taken off in the boating world for refurbishing clear hatches, degraded plastic windows...

Get a tug boat.  It'll be perfect, slow easy to control and it will catch everyones eye.

Couple it with a simple barge with your bill board on it and woola instant advertising.

Main gear width

Is there a rule of thumb for the width stance for the main gear? I am scratch building a GB Sea Hawk and am makingthis one atail dragger instead of floats for now. The wingspan is 48".

You could just recover the repaired areas with a new scheme and if another repair is required you can then continue with the new scheme. It's like a badge of repair honor to have a mis-matched cover...

How did cut those dovetails, theyhave an amazing fit, it looks as though they were laser cut to fit together that well. You should have done a video series to document the amazing craftsmanship.

That was a pretty impressive splintering of wood, and a more impressive repair job. Looks real good.

Might not want to make it to rigid though, looks likethat nose section acted as a pretty good...

I don't know about their reputation but I've been looking at theNational Balsa website. They have convential leading edge in addition to symmetrical. Their prices seem very reasonable and inventory...
