RE: Vega engines made in the UK

RE: Webra T4-60 : Man, I hate a dirty engine!

Do'nt know if it has been mentionned before : you must heat-up the engine when bolts or bearings are tight due to dried up castor. I use a flame for this but for those not used to the method it is...

The pics above are of the T4 14,314cc of 1980. The rotary valve was inspired on the Aspin...

RE: Webra T4-40

The first Webra T-4's did have the arrangement like the engine from my collection. Later a conversion set was available from Webra so you could put the carb in the head.

RE: Deezil model Engines (again)

I agree. But as I've mentionned before : a bad engine can become very collectable, everybody back to the modelshop, the shop owner complaining to the importer. Nobody wants to even think about the...

RE: Discolored OS Engine

What I do in such cases is sand blast the parts in my small Snap On. But.... you must carefully tape off all openings

RE: Heads up! Supercharged OS120 going for peanuts in the classifieds!

ORIGINAL: gkamysz

It's worth a lot NIB as a collectible. The trouble with this series is that fuel pump and regulator. I almost put in an offer. I just don't have time to deal with it right now...
