I knew someone was going to mention that! Yes the phones are subsidized, but ipads arent, and unlocked iphones are $500 or so. Either way, it pales next to the 18mz's $3000 price.

Yikes that is so small and moving so fast, I dont know how you keep up with it! I was thinking about doing this conversion but that video gives me second thoughts. Great flight though!

After almost pulling the trigger on the Avonds, I'm leaning very heavily towards the Skymaster 1/6th. I like that Ican deal with BVM, they provide upgraded parts and a manual, provide a buffer...

Id love one, but it looks like I can do a Skymaster F-16 1/6 scale with a Jetcat P-180, JR 12x, servos, pneumatics, Powerbox SRS and all other necessary equipment for the same price as a scale jets...

Maybe... I have a buddy locally that does a lot of painting.I haven't asked to see if he would help me with it yet. If not, I might be forced to go with the 1/6 SMF-16, which wouldn't be the end of...

Yep the euro is on its way down vs the dollar. Even at todays exchange rate though, the full kit is a little over $3k. Not bad for a 1/7 scale F-16...

It is a good deal, and I'd love to have it, but I think I'm going to start with something smaller and less complicated!Just getting it here from Belgium and then sources all of the components...

Where'd you get 2300 euros?If I add some things up on their price sheet, I come to about 1,885 euros or $2,550. Iused the standard gear, not the scale gear. I can't justify triple the cost for scale...
