Solman is correct...With any heli when a tail blows out, this is due to the tail not being able to keep up with the sudden increase in main head speed. Happens with t.t helis as well. Lower your head...

Those hk tail blade grips and bolts do this often. If the bolts dont break in half they will usualy try and back out. At times with any bolt threaded into these hk tail blade grips... The best...

 I have a 100amp esc on mine. But you can go with an 80 if you like. For these 600's its best to go atleat 40c when picking out batteries.

Here is a good trick....Take a bic lighter, If the flame stays on. Its ok to fly a co-axe outside. if not .. forgettttttttt about itttttt.

Blade all the way....The majority of ppl that jump up to a fix pitch go the blade 120sr route. And for good reason. Just remeber much like your co-axe the fitch pitch helis hate even a slight breeze....

Hey mike.:) They came like that. Most windows were pre-installed. Only had to glue 2 side windows in.

I dont have the apache. But yes it does affix with the help of 5 magnets .  This is my first md500 scale build. So I was pleasently suprised just how easy it was from start to finish. But I suppose...

Him being brand spanking new to the hobby. his best bet would be to start out with a 4 chanl.co-axe. A great first heli is the blade mcx. Very durable and can take a few minor crashes as his learning...
