RE: Traxxas Revo is a piece of garbage!!!

You might get one of the updated fuel tanks if you haven't already. The old tank seals leak and cause overheating problems. Call Traxxas they'll send you a new one. As for plugs.. you should be...

RE: Official ALL TRUGGY THREAD.. Hotbodies, GS, MUGEN,Conversions.pix/Video

No, all the Prospec parts are not needed. I would recommend the torque rods and towers. I've got a mod for the rear torque brace that I got from Tony @ Tonysscrews.com. It helps cut down on the...

RE: Is Losi LST Worth $600+?

You're not kidding. You've got to spend at least another $150 on a LST to make it somewhat reliable. I owned one and wanted to like it but it was too much of a money pit.

RE: Official ALL TRUGGY THREAD.. Hotbodies, GS, MUGEN,Conversions.pix/Video

Well an update on my truggy project. I've been doing some research and I'm thinking about not using my Native LA setup. I don't like the lack of rim/tire combos with this setup. Seems that the Wabash...

RE: Savage .25 v.s. Revo

Dream on...... Your right about one thing though, it is big and bulky which allows it to handle like a brick on wheels! :D

RE: What Monster truck to get????

well this is stupid but i feel like arguing.

endo n. the maneuver of flying unexpectedly over the handlebars, thus being forcibly ejected from the bike. Short for "end over end". "I hit that...

RE: Truggy Poll!

X5 w/Native arms or HB LSP are the two best truggs right now IMO! I haven't seen any Xray converts yet but I'll bet their awesome too. I haven't seen any reliabilty issues with X5's around my area....

RE: What Monster truck to get????

actually an endo is when you apply the brakes too much and flip over on your ass. a stoppie is when you apply front brake and ride on your front wheel or wheels.

RE: How much is too much?????

I've used Hitec 645's but they seem to have a problem with centering correctly. It's not that they don't have the torque, they just lack speed and accurate re-centering capability. They do fail quite...

RE: Do I need 1 or 2 servo savers (killerhobbies) for the lst?

You definately need two. If I can remember correctly I used the Kimbrough (http://www.kimbrough-products.com/servosvr.htm) Part# 124. Worked well but you'll need to trim it to fit.

RE: My new LST. Grins and Woes.

I had a love-hate relationship with my LST. The thing was fun to drive but very fragile. The diff housings were an easy fix but the a-arm breakage was rediculous. I didn't get away from the track...

RE: Official ALL TRUGGY THREAD.. Hotbodies, GS, MUGEN,Conversions.pix/Video

I'm looking for some advice from any MBX5 truggy owners. Is it possible to run the rear shocks on the front with the setup below or are the stock front shocks the better choice? This is what I have...

RE: best engine?

I agree with Skyline the Novarossi N21B is a ripping little 3 port as well. I think I may pick one up soon.

RE: best engine?

It depends on the track. On a tight track with no really long straights an RG will hold its own. The P5 does have a bunch more top-end and the RG can't compete with that. No doubt about it the P5 is...

I'm not telling you what you should do. This is just what I do and it's worked well for me. I'm by no means an expert but this method has treated me well for a while now. I started using the Bess...

RE: Running in

I broke my RS5 in on 30% and ran it on the ground from the first drop. 4 cycles of 3 minute runs varying the throttle and getting temps up to 190-210 dgrs. Then cooling with piston at BDC. After the...
