Oh yeah

.18 is cubic inches. 3.0 is cubic centimeters. Right? A .18 cubic inch is a 3.0 cubic centimeter motor.

How do 400 ci and 402 ci motors have the same ci? If my calculations are correct the 402 has 2 more cubic inches than the 400 ci mill.

Good idea

Get the .18 sirio and keep the ez start. It fires right up no matter what, I use a glow plug ignitor and the ez start to just spin the motor.

Maybe he should get any of the new .18 engines that are a direct replacement for the 2.5. I am partial to the sirio, but there are a couple more good ones out there.

BUY THE SIRIO! Great motor, easy to tune. May cost a little more but it is well worth it.

That is a good idea if you have a good 2.5 motor. My experience has been that you can pull till' your arm falls off and the motor won't start. It is hard to tune, so the e-z start make it a little...

My ez start broke the same way yours did. Just call traxxas and they will send you a new one. If they want you send yours back tell them you will when you get the new one. They shouldn't charge...
