Thanks for the info. I guess a stick to outrunner motor adapter would work. Do those things usually leave the adapter shaft in the same place as a gear box?

That beast could use some flaps and maybe a leading edge device or two to help it slow down a bit. Even too fast an approach (for that runway) was darn near stall speed for that HiPer wing....
