If you run 3s you will probably burn out the reg if it's not rated for higher voltages, so 2 is perfect.

I use Duralite Lithium Ion packs, on my Edge I run a 2800 4 cell and Duralite's regulator...

Yep, once I sorted out the cooling issues and some other things, My Moki has ran strong for 3 years that I have had it, and probably another 3 before I owned it. Great glow engine.
