RE: Why aren't we world class?

That's funny, because a lot of drivers here (in Germany) would love to have more "US Style" tracks. So it's as always, the things the others have are always better. :D
But it's starting over here...

I couldn't have put it better. I own both mentioned buggies and I won't get rid of either of them. Great cars!

RE: Losi 8ight clutch compatibility??

I thought that too, but on the Losi CB, the smaller bearing sits a bit more inward. Therefore the screw that holds the CB doesn't stick out as far as on a regular CB. That gives you a bit extra...

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

Most of the parts are different. Exceptions are diffs, brakes, wheel hubs, the drive shafts (but not the ones going from the center diff to front/rear diff).

RE: Shocks

Well, the compressibility of fluids is so small, that it can be completely neglected in our setting. The pressure to do so would surely squirt all the oil out of the shock past the o-rings first. I...

RE: Losi 8ight clutch compatibility??

Well even with a special motor mount that lets the engine sit further to the front you will run into a problem. There really is not that much space left then between the end of the crankshaft and the...

RE: Shocks

It doesn't work like that, because fluids cannot be compressed. You wouldn't be able to move the shock at all, if there was no air bubble in the cap.

RE: Shocks

The bladders do form a sealed chamber with air in it. As 1/8racer stated this compensates for the change in volume when the shock compresses. The air inside can be compressed, that's were rebound...

RE: what engine?

Well, I don't think that all those engines were really dynoed.
You can also only compare engines that were tested on the exact same dyno, because there is no industry standard for testing these...

RE: what engine?

I don't know about the Force .32, but according to http://nitrodynesystems.com the Axial .32 Spec 1 puts out 1.66HP. I doubt that the Force will be twice as much powerful.
Performance ratings are...

RE: When will we see the Losi 8ight???

Did any of you guys fry any servos? I heard there might be a problem with servo dying in this car due to much flex of the radio tray or something.
Thanks for your feedback.

Even better. A modded engine is usually more efficient, therefore fuel consumption might not be a big problem.
