The salamander fuse is out of the mold. I will clean the molds up, and lay up another one...

Got the other side of the mold done in carbon. And my test nuke arrived! A starmax he-162. Just have to balance up the fan, final setup, and it will be ready to go!

Yep is a fair way out, and so I suspect that the fuse shape, i.e. the formers are going to be out as well. I'll email you guys a larger version of the overlay because RCU shrunk it down a fair bit.

Yes, my understanding is that the fuse joins and rivets were putty'd over and then painted, and the as the wings were wood, very little in the way of join lines there as well.

My Byron EDF on 12s pulls 126A, about 16lbs of thrust but at lower efflux speed.:eek: 20A difference is massive for these style of setups.

For the correct required FSA, you also have to subract the motor tube size. not sure that is taken into account with your posted FSA's?
