Hi Robert..will using the Bat share eliminate the common ground shared between the two packs ?

Hi Joe,
No, using the BatShare will still result in a common ground. When you use two battery packs to connect to a common receiver you will always have a common ground. There is no way around this. Even when you use regulators and switches you end up with a common ground.
