Default Looking for a new electric

Hey guys, right now i have a nitro hammer and lets just say its seen better days so im planning to get rid of it and get an electric. My budget is around $500 and im planning to get an FS GT3B radio because the recievers are very cheap and i have alot of trucks and cars. So if you guys could just give me suggestions of what to buy. I'd like something that goes at least 40MPH.
Thanks

If you are after a mono, the Impulse 31 is probably the best RTR value around at the moment. A guy at our club has one & it was race ready straight out of the box.

Thanks guys, the Impulse 31 and the motley crue both look like good choices and they have the same motor and batteries but which one is faster stock and which one can be upgraded easier.

It's not the same motor in both hulls. It's just the same kv, nothing about those motors are the same. That's like saying all v-8s are the same regardless of brand. I acutally like the AQ 1800 motor slightly more then the PB 1800, The AQ seems to have a tad more torque. Both are good choices, if you are newbie however the mono maybe be the better choice as they are easier to setup and drive then a cat is. You will be happy with either one, both companies are awesome and both have excellent warrenties. I like the throttle response of the Aquacraft esc's also, the PB esc's low end throttle sensitivity is not that good. JMHO

I am a newbie to the boat hobbies i started with a sw Mötley Crew. I run mostly in lakes and ponds in my area and I honestly recommend the MC. If you run in rough water the I would recommend a mono boat. However I love the AQ MC and am super happy with it. It come ready out of the box and is fast ebough that you don't need to upgrade it. <div>
