the tower hobbies turbo vee 3? im kinda having problems deciding between 3 boats.

1. towerhobbies turbo vee 3
2. aquacraft hammer
3. traxxas blast


i like the turbo vee 3 price. what would u all choose and why and why not?

for out of box speed id go with the Turbo Vee.For looks id go with the hammer.The turbo Vee out of box is faster than the blast.If you want to see a vid let me know ill show you.

why would the vee the faster then the hammer? arent they both 540 and water cooled?

i think i saw ur video but its keeps playing like super speed. but maybe im thinking of a different video.


what about quality? dependabilty(sp)? id like somethink fast yet strong cuz im gonna use it alot at our cabin on a lake i wanna jump the wake waves.

The Vee has pretty much the same electronics as the hammer but in a smaller boat.No i have a different video

I agree, go with the TV3. I have the TV2 and love it. It went about 15 mph out of the box and with a few mods hit 24 mph. I'm now putting a BL motor in it and added bearings to the drive shaft, hoping for around 30 mph now. It's a nice boat and easy to upgrade if you want to.

If you like tiny boats then I guess get the TV3. Personally I would spend a little more and get the larger 29" Aqua Jet boat before I would get one of the smaller boats you mention. The AJ has tons of upgrade possibilities, the quality is very good, it has much better drive set-up, and it can handle a much larger variety of wave conditions than the TV3 or the Blast. Yes it is almost twice as expensive at $169.99 but IMO it's well worth it. Even better would be the $199 version with the bigger 775 motor and a custom water cooled speed control. I like my Tubro Vee 2, It's the right scale for 1/10 th. car.
