Default mini hydro!

here is a hydro that i have built it is small and fast
there is a wite up on it some where on RCU but (lol) i cant find it
well i have a mini brushed peakradier motor in it and the -mini-t electronics and the servo !
the rudder is for expermental pourpouses only so it may look weird
and it is running on a 6 cell pack but will soon run on a 11.1 volt lipo and if that goes well i will be putting a hacker BL motor in to it !

here is a vid of it its just reving cuz i have no water ! lol

lol BTW in the vid i said it was a "tunnel hull" i dont now what i was thinking lol just disregard what i said !

well that white cat it is done and i went up to my condo with both boats
and i ran the mini hydro i had a battery and it went about 25mph

but the white cat boat is a literal rocket ,BUT!!!! i kinda messed up on the hull
OK so i put the white boat in the water and it is sitting with that aggressive stance!(pic) i have a 19 turn motor on 6 cells i hit the throel and bam it popes out of the water like it literal was just moving with the out drive in the water !!! then it flattens out but it seems to be that the boat is sticking to the water to much, almost like there is a big wing on the bow of it and is pushing it down ! also it is hard to drive cuz i want to roll on you!!! (my fault[] ) also i turned a corner at full till and compley rolled it and sunk so i puled it in dumped the water out and hit it again it poped out of the water like a jumping frog then flattend out and it was leaning to the side like it want to flip over on its side
but i got a speed pass and i estimated a fast 30mph eazy ! so i have to paint it and then i will get a vid of it and show you what i mean about it wanting to rool and flip on me !

ok so the mini hydro:
well it ran good but because i had a preformace motor in it, it coulnt rev up to speed in the water so it didnt hesitate to get up on a plane, wile moving at a 15mph pace it looked so stealth ! with the carbon fiber look it was like a missel! so i opend up the hatch and found my self with a COLD motor[>:][X(] and NO water in the hull !!!
so then i brought it back to shore and shaved down the prop a bit, i then put it in the water with a full battery and zoom zooom never seen a small boat go so fast ! like maby 25 mph i coulnt control it i turned just a bit and blam it went off in the directon !

i love the boat and i cant wat to see how it is with a BL and a lipo !!!!!

lol no it isnt
it is my cottage and that dock you see behind me goes out about 150 feet and hold about 5 BIG boats
it is on lake simcoe in orillia, ontairo
it is the bast place i have ever been, it is all sand in our bay anf we can get out boat in and out if i eazy
the perfict place to run the rc boats, cuz it is shelterd from the wind and is calm and there are good spots to run the boats cuz there is one place abut 50 feet by 200 feet that is all 1.5 feet deep so when you flip the boat or it goes dead u can wal out and get it and its all sand

that pictre was taken just last week and it was cold out but a little bit of the watter was open so i just HAD to put my boats in, it has been a long winter!

well a hydro has a very thin stren and putting that weight on it wouldnt be good unless it is like a 3 point out rigger then u could do it

i owuld glady send you the cat plans but unfortunitl i dont have any lol
i drew it on a piece of wood and cut it out and then gluded it and then wood glue
no plans just off the top of my head and i think i built it in a bout a night but then i ran out of glue lol
camera is done brb with more pics !

The little hydro looks real nice. What hull is it? It would be so cool if it was made from carbon fiber.

Tim
