that will work just great
if you can afford the bigger esc (120 opposed to 80 ) then get it

you will get around the same speed maybe a little faster and more efficient.
You will have to change your prop. This feiago is a 2pole motor and the on in the SV27 is a 4 pole. ( more poles more power )

don't know on the prop CF or metal it doesn't matter. its the pitch and diameter.
as for the wind it doesn't matter its your choice. all will work just great.
also you don't have to post 3 times. Just edit your first post.

what have you used to get the best speed? i want to go 45mph, is this acheivable. the lower the wind then more rpm for the same amount of cells right?

sorry for all the questions, i guess im just not knowlegable enough to the point where i can be confident.[&o]

Have you had the boat in the water yet? OC has seen 42 with the stock motor. I'd say you can get 45 but you better have a recovery unit bc it will be a squirly 45. Get the adjustable tabs too. Sounds like you have the cash to play with. I'd consider longer custom tabs for more stability.

ya i was just gonna make two alumminum tabs myself and bend them so they are even. prolly 1 1/2- 2 in long.
yes i have a little bit of money, ive been saving up since i was 6 and im 15 now so u get the point.
i dont have the supervee bl motor yet but i have the esc(it was on backorder but it is coming sunday). I was also thinking of getting a 80a esc to run on the supervee motor. don't know if it could handle it tho.

btw, i dont have a supervee, im using the brushless in it to power my phantom 8 hull from bby

Hmmm pretty short boat for 45mph. Sounds like a set-up challenge. Keep us posted.

a fast set up will be useless if you can not control it .
go big or go home.
try 38 inch hull

on 10 cells around 38mph or faster.
But you would need a 8L motor.

hahahahaha!!! sorry to break it to ya mike, but if you wanted to go 45 mph, you should of got a bigger hull. There is NO WAY your going to be in control of a 24 inch hull going 45 mph.

have you thought about hull reinforcement?? your going to need it.

also, what about trim tabs?? I'd order up a few sheets of sheet metal, your hull is going to look like a sailboat if you want your boat to be controlable.

not trying to bust your ego, I'm just being realalistic.

I think we said all this already just a FYi.
and here is another. i have had a 25 inch hull at over 45mph.
and the sv27s are a great example. they are what 26 inches or something ?
well they have shown to do 42mph and they are 2 inches bigger.
do you know the front 1/4 of a mono is useless when its on plane. It does very little. so really a 24 inch hull could have the same size ride pad as a 26 or 28 inch hull
