Hey all;. Is anybody here adding any extra capacitors to thier speed controls? I have seen it done before, but I would like to have some feed back from other boaters.
I am wondering benifits, what capacitance, is it as easy soldering the cap between the battery leads?
Thank you
Joe

hey joe
i solder an extra cap to my esc,i solder it as close to the originalcaps as i can, i put a biy of hot glue between them, cut 5mm of tube of the the batt leads, twist the pins on the caps around the wires and solder them on, once done, a piece of heat shrink around everything and yoyr done
better response, cooler running and the esc lives longer

keeps the esc alive much longer, I've yet to hear of one failure with the esc after doing this
I've done it to my UL-1 and it works great..
