Default shockwave 36 problems

I am a new member with a question I recently bought a shockwave 36 I broke it in like it says but when I am running it it will be running fine then when I get in the gas it will start bogging and slowly get up more rpms then it will open on up after a few seconds. After it does it it will run fine for a little bit (maybe 30 seconds) then it does it again. only when im going from an idle to wide open. When it does it it wont run as fast as it was a few seconds earlier. any suggestions?

Default RE: shockwave 36 problems

jeremyd,

Welcome ! My best suggestion is to read the shockwave thread. You will find your answer there and also get some info into other challenges with this boat. Your prob sounds alot like a pressure leak in your fuel system. Check your fuel cap, fuel lines, pressure fittings and hose on your exhaust system. Also make sure your needle valve is set around 2.5 turns open . Hope this helps

Greg
