Here's mine. I'm just back into this after many years. Sorry about the dirty camera lens.
First photo is of the bench only. Second photo shows where the bench is located, in the warehouse. B-24 being built. A-26 kit just arrived. |
RE: Let's see your work shop!
B-24 Nut,
You going into mass production of the Stafford B-24? I think I counted 6 kits in the one picture with 3 fuselages under construction. You building your own bomber group? :) |

I guess once the fuse is built and then the prospect of having to build the wing is there, many people give up. |

My hobby area is a spare bedroom. It's about 11 x 11 plus a small closet. The two 5 drawer project centers give lots of space for tools and parts. I've moved stuff around a few times; still not sure if I have it right. The building board goes on the small desk. The table against the wall is where I plan to do the major cutting. The kit on the table is a Tower Hobbies Uproar 60 that I plan to start soon.

You guys are all lucky.
I got kicked out of the bedroom where I usualy build. This is what I have now. This is what happens when your wife loves you.LOL |
RE: Let's see your work shop!
I'm single so I get to use my space the way I want. I'm sure that would change if a 'significant other' was in the picture.
|
RE: Let's see your work shop!
Hey Carrell
Believe me it will change :). Once the significant other comes and then the little ones, your area will shrink. The good news is that if you pick the right significant other, you will be able to have a nice area to work in. My wife was very supportive for allowing me to fix up the garage since we didn't use it anyway. Check out my website. Good luck and choose wisely! :D Lee |

RE: Let's see your work shop!
I keep a table set in front of it so I do not wonder into it. I have not run into it and it has been there almost 3 years now since I moved here from Sunnyvale.

Here is my shop, a bit messy when I took the photos but I was doing some work. The shop is equipped with a metal lathe, drill press, scroll saw,CNC Foam cutter and CNC Laser cutter, the scroll saw does not see to much action anymore since the laser was born!, I am still working on getting the milling machine so I can mill the brake hubs for my jets, the drill press does not work too well for that purpose but still gets the job done eventually. Happy building!

Living in housing on a military base, space is sometimes very limited. My wife said I could use one of the closets to set up my small shop. She calls my little area “The Cove”.
