Hey guys I need some help with my revo 3.3

I bought it about a year ago. I broke it in and had been driving it fine for about 2 months. One day after driving my revo for about an hour I took the air filter out and cleaned it like ur told to after every hour of run time. The next time I took it out I noticed it was acting different. It seemed to have an whole lot more power then it usually dose. After about and 50 minutes of run time it started sputtering and seeming to bog down. Then it started cutting off. I would have to run over and start it back up. It started cutting off more and more frequently until it would just not stay running. Well when I brought it back inside to see what was wrong with it I noticed that I had left the freshly cleaned and oiled air filter on my rc work bench. So I believe that the sand and dirt got in the engine after about and hour of driving it. I was driving it in a mostly sand with some grass. This made me so angry that I haven't touched it for 5 months now. But I want to get it working again and it is not wanting to stay running. When I go to start it up I will have to hold my finger over the exuast for about 20 seconds before it will start to fire and crank over. But it wont stay running unless I have the button held down on the ez start. Also I can't give it any throttle because it bogs down and it just wont rev at all, Unless I hold my finger over the exhaust for 10 seconds or so. Then when I take it off it will get like a sudden burst. I checked the ez starter cord that hooks up to the glow plug and it worked fine. I also took my glow plug out and tested it, it glowed just fine and looked good. I am having several drops of oil/nitro dripping out of the exhaust pipe after I spend a whole ez battery charge trying to get it started. Do you guys think that the motor is messed up because of the lack of an air filter for an hour? Could their something else that is causing this? could their be a lack of compression? too much or too less gas? I did tinker with the tuning when trying to get it to start up and keep running. But once I take my finger off the ez start button it runs for about 2 seconds and then dies. Let me know what you guys think. I need so ideas to what it might be and some easy solutions.

im 95% sure your going to need a new p/s.. i see an engine rebuild in your future

well you could have messed up the motor with no air filter on cause little pieces of dirt can get in the motor and mess things up. And if you want stock setting for the hsn bring the needle all the way in but dont force it and turn it 4 times out, and for the lsn it should line up with the little black ring in the inside but if this doesnt work take off you carb and clean it

yeah i know how it is. theres a guy just outside of town that has a little shop and he knows he can charge what ever he wants...50 bucks for a gallon of nitro 20 % , 10 bucks for 1 glow plug and so on. its highway robbery!!! so i order online

I got one question when i go to start my truck with the ez start it will only crank over sometimes can it be the electric start motor is starting to go or can it be the battery pack?

Could be one or the other or possibly even both. Make sure the battery pack for the ez-start is fully charged and make sure the wires to the ez-start motor are pushed on fully....

I'm wanting to get a new body. Does anyone use the Parma Nissan Titan body on the 3.3? I want to see if it fits right before I buy it.

lol I drive one and work at a Nissan dealership. I would never hear the end of it if I bought a Ford F150 or Dodge Ram body.

How in the hell did you build that wing!? How well do wings work? Do they make your truck faster, lighter, or make it turn better? or dose it just give you better gas mileage?

i have the traxxas wing mount and i was bashing in the snow and went off a pile of snow and landa little bit on te wing and it snapped it should i buy the teckno wing mount or just buy another traxxas one (which one is stronger?)
