I managed to get out today despite earlier in the week rain and above freezing temperatures to make this video. Enjoy.

Hey darylP looks lioke a pretty sweet mod you got there. Hows the stock front suspension holdin up for ya? Im currently working on ridgewalker's steps and I need some advice since yes I am a noob. I don't know a good receiver and remote to use. will any work? I already have the 14.4V esc and the 550 e-maxx titan motor.

I'm actually quite amazed at how the front end is holding up, nothing broken yet. On the straight hard pack it motors, faster than what you see in the video. Problem is one little error in steering (have my steering exponential dialed up to -80%) or a side camber bank sends it rolling. I think it rolled at least 5 times yesterday. The decals on the side of the snowmobile are paper so if you roll, wipe off the melting snow on them or suffer wrinkled and deteriorating decals. Any suitable surface radio should do, 2 channels minimum. I like the spread spectrum technology because I don’t need to worry about others on my frequency.

RE: RC Snowmobile Polaris Fusion 900 Build Thread
Sorry i hav not checked in but i've been working on a chevy pick up scaler.
So here are some pics of everything all hooked up ready to go.I am only useing one set of wire from the esc to run the motor the other two get tucked away. The esc is pluged into ch-2 and the steering servo is pluged into ch-1 on the rx.
I also took some pics of the servo mouned up.You can see i used two of the plastic stand off's from the original stock servo to mount my servo.I added a 1/4 in spacer between the servo and the plastic stand off to get the right height.I made s semi circle to fit from one plastic stand off to the other and mounted that to the lower servo holes, then i used a small peace of angle,i mount one side to that half circle peace and the i screw the other to the plastic stand off where i have that spacer, the top is just zip tied to the top brace/shock mount with a small scrap of rubber to keep it square. If you look at my first pics i think you can see the half circle peace i'mm talking about.I originaly mounted the servo one way then i changed it to it's current mounting location so i was just reusing a part i already made,i try to re use everything i save every scrap and find a use for it somewhere.I hope tthese pics help you out i'm pressed for time right now so if you need more pics i'll be back tomorow.

Well I can say one thing try Homehardware cuz all radioshacks ran out of em since this is an older rc sled. Ebay doesn't have em either so that won't help you....... By buying off ebay so far I have invested how much it is worth on its own. 165$ and I still have to buy a pinion for 25 on ebay (mostly due to its shipping). I bought everything there but a used 14.4V Esc are hard to find there.

Glad you like them.
But wait till this winter for my new beast that is in the works
it should be close to or over 60mph in the snow.
total remake of the sled all thats left is the shell of the original new ski's arm's and everything.
Will post vid when its finished

You wont see much action here untill its winter comes around again.
try youtube for rc sled vids, might find a hillclimb video, have not seen one my self.
Honestly this is a left behind part of the hobby, There is not a single RC sled better than radioshack quality. sucks

I would give it5 a shot. Just reinforce the base of wear your gonna put the .21 with a 1/4 inch thick peice of steel. I almost put my old .21 in it but then thougt not to.
I would like to see this. If your head is too high on the motor to fit. Just take out the headlights and u should be ablt to get another 2 inches of room.
I hope this works out for ya.
