Use this first public BETA of the WEA APP for Android v2.1 and v2.3.x Smartphones (at your own risk of course)

Rename the refered file to *.APK and transfer it to your Smartphone, then install it by tapping on the file using a file manager. The final version will incoporate MUCH more functionality as the author lets us know when he released this first version. This will come along with a new firmware for the DV4BT.

Please (bug)report your expirience here so issues can be fixed...

Use this next BETA (14) of the WEA APP for Android v2.x 3.x and 4.x Smartphones (at your own risk of course)

In this beta-version (14), the BT connection problem that could occur in (13) has been fixed. Now runs really stable on Motorola Defy+ with 2.3.6 and also on CM9 4.0.4 in a distance of over 5m to the DV4BT.

Be sure to set the data format to "telemetry" with Gigacontrol in the Bluetooth-Sction. Firmware-Level in the WEA Components must be v2.5x or up. (For extended BT-Range, you can set the RF output from 0 up to +10db in the same section).

Use the downloadlink above to download the APK file. Keep in mind that you have to rename it to *.APK before transferring it to you Android Device. After copying, simply tap on the file using the file manager and install the APP. This version has compacted code and also english and french language. The language displayed is derived from from the system language which is set in the settings menu.

If you find any bugs, PLEASE REPORT here! This also includes bugs regarding the language translation.

Hello,

V18 beta works fine on my Xperia ARC connected to ma DV4BT...

Except when I plug the GPS modul on the 12/22R.

In that case, the App close suddenly each time.

Does somebody have same feedback ?

WEA (Olaf) is still busy regarding the development of the APP. More sensor-data will be added soon, including GPS...
