I don't know how many times I have to say this, when you have a problem call US.

UPS listens to us. They will not listen to anyone on this list, none of these people can help you (at least not with this problem).

Call us on Monday and we will ask UPS to check on it. But FYI you already lost your best chance to get it back, if you had called on Friday when there was still time for UPS to ask the driver he might have been able to explain what he did with it. BY Monday he will have likely forgotten about it.

First.......you need to relax...

Its not Wild's fault that the shipping got messed up, if you are that worried, then pay for insurance.

Second......just because it said it was deliverd, sometimes that only means that it was put on the truck. Happened with me earlier this month with USPS. Item said it was delivered, they tracked it, said the same. They then put a search on it......it showed up 10 days later.

OK, the reason you didn't hear from us was because we assumed that you had received it. Now I remember the situation, we talked with the UPS people who said they were gonna track down the driver and find out where it was delivered.

I'm sorry but since I heard nothing else (this happened on a Friday afternoon I believe) I assumed that you had located the package.

Call us Monday AM and we'll follow up with UPS. If the plane is gone we'll get another one out to you. We always insure the packages.

I keep repeating this, please do not assume that just because this is a mom-and-pop operation that there's nothing much going on around here. The phone rings from morning to night, the only time it stops is when it's busy because we're on it. If you have a situation that's urgent don't wait a week for us to follow up, call us back.

And sign your posts if you want me to know who you are.

Dude... if you don't want anyone's help then we don't want to hear you whine. Don't get all cocky and insult people that are trying to help. Sounds like you need the movie.

I hope you find your plane.

Tony:

Thanks for identifying yourself, that helped a lot.

We received a UPS claim form in Saturday's mail, which means they gave up and don't know what happened to your plane. We will be shipping a new plane to you on Monday.

Please contact us asap to verify the shipping address and email address so you can be home to accept it.

All that attitude to people who are only trying to help......

1. When you buy and expensive item you should know what kind of shipping your getting......i.e. Is it insured, can you buy insurance if its not, does it require signature.

If you would have taken a few minutes on your time to verify this, you would have seen that WH insures their items and UPS has to be given the chance (normally it takes 2 weeks so your lucky!) to find the missing box, regardless if it says dropped off. So before your so quick to tell people to stay out of your business.............Don't post on a public forum! I was only trying to help you realize that it may still show up through UPS.

Regardless, WH I commend you on service!

Both of them are quite good at messing up stuff, that would be like the blind leading the blind if you had Fedex ship it. A tad off subject but try shipping a rifle and see what happens to it. You get the idea. FYI when I have my Extra shipped, it will be forward air or Greyhound. I have no probs with driving somewhere to pick up my plank as long as I have the piece of mind that not only will it arrive, but without forklift holes in the boxes.

MrKindNuggz I understand your frustration, what a bummer trying to run it down. However, we don't live in a perfect world and it sounds like Tom @ Wild Hare has taken great care of you. Other than your time you have lost nothing and consider your self lucky, because if Tom would not have insured it you would be taking your Medicine right now!!!!!!!

Check you attitude at the door, Dude Nuggz or whatever you call yourself!!!!

Thanks Tom for all your help with everything!!!!!

Forward Air makes errors, too. My Son had a Columbo Anderson 40% Extra shipped via Forward Air from Pennsylvamia to the San
Francisco Airport. They called him and said the shipment was there. He drove 60 miles to get it, and all they had was the small box
with the canopy and cowl. He looked at the shipping documents, which clearly stated two boxes. This was on a Friday. They gave
him a phone number to contact a claims official, who claimed it was the first he heard about it when my Son called late on Monday.
The best advice is to listen to Tom and follow what he says. You all have a good idea how much shipping he does with UPS. Call him,
let him deal with the problem. He's a big business account and you're receiving one shipment. Who do you think they will listen to?

I'm a little puzzled why this has come up again. The replacement plane was sent out on 6/13 and was delivered on 6/16 with signature required. We have not heard from Mrkindnuggz since.

I think this thread is finished.
