Thats it!

I have been looking at this bird for weeks now and I'm completely sold :D

Soon as I have saved enough you can add me to the list of owners.

Thanks for the detailed build, it will come in very handy, very soon!

What? [&o]

Perhaps a WH rep can pipe in here and tell me it isnt so....?

To momentarily detract from the heartache of this, I have a question: What servo combinations are correct for this bird? I dont see a minimum spec for torque or even a recommendation...

Cheers

As far as i know there is only one Wild Hare rep Tom. The rest of us are just arm chair quarterbacks.

Hey guys...

Thanks for the thread, very informative.

I have been saving for a WH Ultimate for a while now and now that I am close to placing an order, am very dissappointed to learn they are no longer available.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has missed out... what is plan B?

Appreciate your comments...

when i called WH to order mine they had one yellow ultimate left but it was missing the center rib for the top wing.they said that they would make it a complete kit, and i think they took the rib out of one of the three white and purple one's left, because the rib was covered in white.
Soarrich said he bought two white one's, so there mite be one white one left with out a center rib.it would not be that hard to make one.

Thanks CTG...

I received an email from 'TF' at WH saying the last two have been sold. I'm guessing those are the ones Soarrich bought.

So I dipped out, pretty dissappointed about that as the WHU was 'the one' for me based on all my research while saving.

Thanks for the info...

Well, That photo pretty much cements the deal for me :D
Now I need to save up the cash as I just ordered a motor last night and drained my hobby funds for the time being.
Saving the money will take a couple of months [&o] But....We are under snow for the next 4 to 5 months, so I have lots of time to save, order, assemble, and be ready to go when the snow melts [8D]
The other thing with waiting...hopefully the Canadian dollar will recover a little. I don't think it can get much worse. Today we loose 30 cents on the dollar to buy American ..... If I ordered today, it would cost me $900 canadian to get it to me [:@]

Are you running stock exhaust or a cannister ?

5645's ??? How do they perform ? That is exactly the setup I was thinking because I already have them.....4 x 5645 on ailerons and elevators and a 5955 on the rudder.

Servos work great for me just make sure to loctite the servo arm screws don't ask me how I know this LOL thought I got them all.. I have the stock muffler need to get the header from Tom since I have the small downtube but still flys great has enough power still to pull out good still kinda working on my CG need to move it back a smidge I think...

Right at the back of the tube works for me. I flew it with the cg an inch behind the tube, did walls so well I had to get a CF wing tube.
