RAN IT FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY, AND WOW! IT IS EVERYTHING I HEARD IT WOULD BE AND MORE. TURNED APC 18X6WIDE 9400 RPM WITH THE RICH 2 TURNS OUT FOR BREAK IN. NORMAL WOULD BE 1 - 1 1/2 TURNS. SO THERE IS MUCH MORE RPM TO COME. IT TURNED 8500 AT HALF THROTTLE. I WILL KEEP IT BETWEEN 8000 - 9000. WILL TRY A 19X6WIDE. I WILL USE IT IN A 3D APPLICATION. I USED MAGNUM #1 FUEL.
I DID NOT HAVE TO USE A STARTER, JUST FLIP IT A FEW TIMES WITH THE THROOTLE WIDE OPEN, BACK TO IDLE AND BACK FLIP AGAINST COMPRESSION. SATARTED AS EASY AS MY SAITO 100 DID. I USE A PAINT ROLLER COVER FOR MY CHICKEN STICK. THE VIBRATION IS VERY LOW. BREAT ENGINE!

Very knowledgable gentleman who makes some dyamite fuel for any 4 stroke by the way Earl i answered your private message on the turns out on high end About 1 and 1/2 max .

Earl sounds like you happy with your motor.I just recieved my 140DZ just wondering on your nitro content .I see alot of people using the APC prop I thought that a lighter prop was preferable for 3D so I thought wood ,what's your take. The APC is a great prop but I thought it's on the heavy side.Soon as I get my prop and fuel I'll be bench runing also. Thanks Andre

The heavier the prop is for a 4 bangar the more they like it they idle better on a heavier prop the apc wide blades are awesome on the YS140 DZ glad you like it Earl i am looking for a 19/6 wide to but apc doesnt list it on the site only the 18/6 .
