Default YS Decals

I recently purchased and 110FZ and a 160DZ and was suprised there were no decals included in the box, it seems to me that this is a great form of advertising and I was suprised they were not included, I love the YS line and would love to help promote the brand, any chance of getting some YS Decals to dress up my models? If so here is my name and address to send them to. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

Thanks Dave!!

Also a quick question about venting the fuel tank on the 160 DZ, what is the best method to do this and what keeps the fuel from running out of this line when doing rolls and inverted flight? the manual also states that when the foam covered clunk is used the engine runs out of fuel as soon as any part of the clunk is out of the fuel, this seems backwards, you would think with the clunk saturated with fuel it would actually pull fuel from the foam when it is out of the fuel intermittantly until it is back in the fuel, can you please clarify? anythig wrong with running a standard clunk?

Thanks again for the decals, can't wait to put them on.

Joe

Place a T fitting between the check valve and the tank. This is the pressure line to the tank that will force fuel to the engine. Place a line on the T fitting and then plug the ling with a fuel plug. While the engine is running pressure builds up in the tank. When you shut the engine down, pull the fuel plug to release the pressure from the tank as it will not be in the fuel.

I wounldn't recommend a foam covering on the clunk. The foam covered clunk will hold the clunk off the bottom of the tank. Consider the viscosity(sp) of the air versus fuel and the air has less viscosity. As soon as the air hits the foam cover it will be sucked into the clunk because it will follow the path of least resistance quicker than the fuel will.

James, FYI, the 160 uses a fuel pump and NOT the YS pressurized setup. It has no check valve in the fuel system.

Flyrite: Make a 360 degree loop in the vent line and run it out the bottom of the fuse.

Thanks for the clarification on the vent line, any comments on the clunk style? the 160 came with a special clunk, what is the reason for this? is there any performance enhancements with the supplied clunk? the directions state it is ok to use a standard clunk. You are really sharp on these. I am going to run a APC 17/10 prop, is this ok or do you suggest something better? I am installing it on a Goldberg Obsession so I will be flying some pattern and some 3D.
Thanks again!

The foam cluck keeps you from sucking a bubble. If it sucks a bubble, the engine will quit. I agree that you cannot run the tank as far down. Plan on running a 20 to 24 oz tank so you have plenty.

Dave, is there somewhere in Canada where I can get these decals? I'm the same as flyrite, like to put lots of decals on my planes, and since I'm just rebuilding my Ultimate after the flame-out of another 1.20 engine whose name starts with Sai... I thought I should advertise that this time I'm back to my YS.
