My YS 110 starts first time for its first run of the day, after I spin the prop over with the starter, with the throttle open for 8 - 10 seconds.
However, it dosen't want to start that easy for its 2nd, 3rd run etc.
I'm not sure how much priming it needs.
It's mounted inverted, uses 20/20 fuel and I release the pressure in the tank straight after each flight.
I can't remember what I used to do when it was mounted on its side in a previous model, but it used to start easily every time then.

If its not getting fuel to start then it could be just a little lean on the regulator.
The other option is you fuel filter could be semi plugged up.
Yet another option could be a fouled glow plug too.
You can try putting a little pressure in the tank with your fuel pump to semi pre-pressurize the tank this will make starting easier as it will help force fuel to the engine...
Just some ideas to help you out. I would suspect a blockage in the fuel system though. Change or clean out your fuel filter.....if its YS filter. There is a little felt type media in it. This will get gummed up and restrict flow as well. I always remove the felt media nd leave the dual screens in the YS filters. This way I can take it apart and look at the screens...but the felt gets clogged up and you can't see the blockage. It really just adds restriction. to the line. In the smaller engines this is not an issue but in the larger ones it can be. Especially if the filter is old and is not allowing flow like when it was newer.

I've tried a new plug.
Should I still prime it as if it were cold, I'm concerned I'll flood it.
As I said, it starts fine for the first start of the day.
I'll check filters and reg too.
Thanks,
Didg.
