Har, Har, I just don't think I could compete with that.

Great paint job.

I have a GB Tiger 2 I want to put my FA-56 on, I'm trying to figure out how I could paint it orange without taking it apart. Here is the nose art the airplane will be covered in orange and white Monokote or Ultracote.

What paint are you guys using? Since we went green doubt we could find anything fuelproof up here.

As for shipping, don't feel bad. One year we sent two boxes of Christmas presents to our child and grandchild in Yellowknife early November. From what we were told it was on the last ferry and was frozen into the ice.all winter. Both showed back at our door in March!. ***? They could have likely saw the ferry from their house! On top of that, had to demand and fight for a refund.

Well, that about as purtyful as it's gonna get. The only new parts are the Boca Bearings, RMJ piston ring and the throttle arm. I did switch the connecting rod and wrist pin a tighter used ones.

There's a new prop chuck'n high compression 150 for sale over on RCG. Not a bad price at all for a new engine.

I'll bet it doesn't chuck props except when mishandled.

Me included

Early 150's aren't for needle twirlers, that's for darn sure. Learned it the hard way, like most everything else. The difference between a great running engine and a prop chucker can be less than 2 clicks of the HSN on 10% nitro. Much more user friendly using 15%-20%, believe it or not.

Mine is a smiler with CHI set at 32 BTDC, it's a little knocky when set steeper than that.

It just ain't gonna fit, no matter how much wine I drink. See what happens when you look at a crankcase.

It justt won't worh.

I need to decide which crankshaft is the right one. I think the one with the new bearings.

You need a case stretcher!

My dad always said, "Never use force, just grab a bigger hammer!".

It looks like I'm going to be forced to rebuild a 120-S, I don't need it, but I just can't help myself.

I put it on hiatus while working on the 150, I have two or three small things to do and then cover it. Geri bought the Old School Minuette for my birthday, I was 81 yesterday.

She actually ordered this version.

Remember what the mouse said to the elephant, if it don't fit don't force it!

Happy belated birthday, Dave.

Nice gift from Geri. Love the old school tail skid and flying wires. Very cool.

I guess Geri is stuck with you, at 81 your trade in value is shot! Nice airplane! I keep threatening to buy their Sunday Fighter (Heimschmitt) .I built one of Ken Willard's Sunday Fighters back in 1974 when he published the design using Ace RC foam wings.

Thankyou gents, I just ran the 150 for about 35 minutes with an APC 16 x 8-w. It made 8,660 at almost peak. Now I know why my other 150 wears a CHI unit. I sprained my right wrist and tore up my chicken stick.

At 7,500, the phone is not a good choice for this.

Me too.
That is exactly why I use the back flip technique.

After 60 plus years of RC and 50 plus years operating machine tools.
