I have a small crack that runs across the bottom keel of one of my floats, for about one inch. My floats are fiberglass. The crack is large enough that I can see the webbing below it. Do I just...

Thanks Jim. 1/4 of the wing is 15 inches. I'm going to go with the floats being parallel and give them a try.

Spacing of floats?

Spacing of floats. My floats are to be 15 inches apart. Is this measurement to be taken from the center line of each float or inside to inside?

Brad, great video! The cameraman did a great job also. Thanks for sharing. Did you have a water rudder attached to your Deb.? Do you know why the wing failed? Did the glue let go?

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I live on lake Sam Rayburn located in Texas. I will be putting my (Spad) Debonair on floats. It will be sometime before I will get to try it out on the lake.

Thanks Jim, from the description you gave I have the Zee Doo floats. Do you have a suggestion as to what type, size, and length screws I should use when mounting the bracing to the floats? Thanks...

I experience a snap roll on take off. It was my fault. I forced the plane off of the ground and had two seep of a climb angle. It snap in a hart beat. I cut the throttle and gave full down it did...
