thanks for all the help guys. i wasnt to sure but figured it wouldnt be an issue...i would have just changed how the motor was on the firewall but i got all gung ho and cut my cowling to fit really...

cool deal man i live out behind white cottage...our field is down off tunnel hill rd. in new lex. pretty much out in the middle of a strip mine so we have plenty of room to play

sadly i just got this plane this weekrtf off a friend after drolling over itfor months, and he put a good number of flights on it so i knew his setup was good to go....

no there was no optical kill switch of any kind, i pretty much got it ready to fly from a friend

i cant remember the brand name batteries off the top of my head but everything was6 volt.i do know...

i did this same thing, got a plane through them to get into the hobby and it was junk, it flew ehhh, but when it came to landing i tore the landing gear of more than i ever...

not sure if this is much help but a guy came to our field with the hanger 9 beast a week ago and was running a bme 115 if memory serves me correctly, seemed to have plenty of power to hover and climb...

i completly agree that mine has been operator error so far it seems, but this one was far out in left field, i tried deleting the model i entered so it would be fresh a few times, swapped out...

have this fixed, servos i was using on the wings had been spliced and heat shrinked like 3 times on each servo. cut all that out and put in new wire,soildered it and heatshrink, it was still acting...

im trying a few things today

first i noticed when i binded the reciever that the blue light wasnt on, so i re-did it so the blue light lite up on the reciever

second im swapping out batteries,...
