Trojan nose gear issue

Hi
My durafly Trojan crash landed and I'm installing a new front gear and its servo. Radio is a turnigy9x.I have 2 issues
1) I just can't slip that c shaped clip thing to secure the gear rod....

Monocote covering help?

How does ironing the monocote covering help? How does it work...does it shrink the covering to adhere to plane?

What IF I dont iron at all over time and the monocote gets wrinkles and gets...

Hi

I fly a Rascal 40 EP . Recently it hit a small tree 's branch which was like a "Y" shape, thus damaging both wings.
The Right wing has more damage, for 4 inches I can feel the loose balsa....

Whats the best stable indoor heli avlbl nowadays? Its for a 12 yr old. He flew the coaxial ones before from radioshack and they werent that stable.

Our max budget is $100. Cheaper...

Heat shrink over a battery pack - Need tips

Is there a forum or link to heat shrink tips over a naked battery pack? I wanna make sure I dont heat it too much that it cracks and is cut ...which defeats the purpose!

Looks like it....Yes maybe...I got the a123s (smaller ones with 1100 mah from B&D VPX)....But now looking for a more powerful motor. Current one is a 480 inrunner.
