The problem is not just the cable, the Shen-Hua radio uses a different pulse standard, that's the main reason of using the described software procedure above. ;)

Did you left the PPJoy software open? You must leave it running in the background in order to work...

I suggest you to go to your nearest Hobby Shop and ask them for help. Maybe you can borrow some batteries to test your heli on the spot with them.

Now you mentioned that you have like 20 flights...
