RE: FS One by Hangar 9

I had the same problem when I installed FSOne. I ended up getting a new video card and all is well. Get one with as much memory as you can afford, it's worth it. Try the online 'computer...

israelg48: I can't covert the videos for you, but I do have FSOne and would love to see them. Any chance I could get copies of them?

RE: Which simulator do you prefer among the best six?

I am certainly not the "top gun" pilot you are looking for, but I may be able to help a little since I just went through what you are going through.

Based on everything I have read, which is a...

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

It depends on how long the box has been on the retailers shelf. I just bought my copy recently and it was version 1.01. No big deal, just download the 1.04 patch and install it (it only takes a...

Interested in learning electric heli's

I posted this in the Electric Heli forum, but I realized it probably should have been posted over here. So here goes again...

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

I have a question about the Autozoom. Does it work at all the fields?
I have tried pressing 'A' on the keyboard and I see that I can turn it off or on, but turning it off does not seem to make...

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

I have only used FSOne for a short period of time, but so far I really like it. The airplanes do what I think they should do given a certain stick input. Just like in real life, when I over control...

Clearview Sim

I have 2 questions:

1. Will the cable from PreFlight work with Clearview (it uses the microphone jack on my computer)?

2. How does Clearview compare to PreFlight and FMS (physics wise)?

RE: Pull-Pull vs. Pushrods

GalenB:

Do you think it is worth the extra time to use the pull-pull on an airplane like this? Oe do you think that either pull-pull or pushrods would give the same performance?

RE: Pull-Pull vs. Pushrods

Why do the servos need to be up front? There is approx. 8" between the servo pivot and the hinge line, that should be enough room for a cleivs and threaded coupler on each and 4 to 5 inches of cable.

Pull-Pull vs. Pushrods

I am going to be building a hybrid fun-fly type plane (the Wacky Bee III from HSRCM http://www.hsrcm.com/) in the next couple of weeks. Right now I am getting all of the materials together and I am...

If you have,

RE: K&B 65 setting the idle

I had an older K&B Sportster .65 and the idle adjustment was done on the same side of the carb as the high speed adjustment. There was a brass disk on the side of the carb with a small screw at the...

RE: Shelf Life of glow fuel

The only time I have had a problem with old fuel was with a bottle of 25% for 1/2A engines. It was about 4-5 years old and I could not get my engine to fire up. After getting some fresh fuel the...

RE: MECOA 46 or GMS 47 ??

MECOA 46 or GMS 47 ??

On the MECOA website you can buy either one of these engines for $49.99 with a trade in.

Based on your experiences, which one is a better engine? My main concern is reliability and ease of use.
