i used to use top fuel..not so good. switched to odonnell with great luck. recently ran a couple of t-max's on the stuff and the owners (dad & brother) loved it. said they wher gunna switch. no smell...

yea i bragged about the same thing.."my gears still look great". i had to open my big mouth. right after that i stripped the clutch bell and both throttle gears. i think it was the sandy dirts...

sorry kimo..i was speaking to a broader extent, over many different threads. it just seems that he is a "know it all" kinda guy or kid? and demeaning is his way of proving his point.

i've got the same problem. i have the team infinity engine and the carb is leaking at the throttle arm. if you have the same engine you may have the same problem. mine runs great just leaks a little...

interesting...the funny thing is i got the vegetable oil idea from redcats website, under support/facts. i guess they are wrong and you are wright.

i went to my lhs and did the same as you. they where out of the traxxas spring, so he gave me an mpi spring. set of two, said they wher the same thing. the ones i got are a little longer and smaller...

i go the cheap, and easy way. i use dish soap and water. cleans really well. then i dry with a paper towl and put a small amount of vegetable oil on it. works great and i didnt have to go out and buy...

im talking about the one that holds it on the shaft. i put locktite on the adj screw and didnt think about the other, figured it would be good and tight. i guess i was wrong.
