Graves do not stock the TT46 parts, but replied to me straight away and were helpful.

Turned out I not only had the binding issue, I also had a dodgy connector between the battery and switch. It took me a few hours and iterations to isolate the problem. Everything working fine now....

Of the 20 Vipers I saw put together in Perth, about 80% needed the tail shimming. All the early ones needed shimming but some of the later ones did not require any shimming.
