I have an Avonds F-15 kit (with a Jetcat P120 approx 27lbs thrust) done as per avonds instructions, not had any issues with the rear fuzz getting too hot but then I don't keep turbine at full chat on...

My dad's part way through building a Sprint, it's going to have a Jetcat p70 fitted, do we need to put the usual 3/8" shim under the Jetcat mount to centre the turbine or does it not matter on this...

Mine is now all but finished, just balanced it and had to add 3 oz of nose weight (but I have used smaller batteries, 2S 1000maH for Rx and 2S 1200mah for ECU), just have to do a final control set up...

Mark,

You are obviously a man of taste as your colour scheme is the same as mine.

Mine is 21.5 Lbs dry can carry up to 4 litres of fuel but I find that 3.25lbs is plenty for 7 mins flying...

Mine weighs 21.5lbs dry and runs on a jetcat 120 one thing I don't have is the gear doors plus air system fitted, apart from that it is a standard set up.

Been flying an avonds f15 for over 5 years now with tailerons only (think they should be called tailerons- think elevons applies to a delta - but that is for another post) no flaps it doesn't need...
