you should be using F plugs in 4 stroke engines or you will have that problem . os8 is a 2 stroke plug

you will need to change landing gear if running 17" prop

My balanced out perfect at 4" with no weight added, you can see where I put everything in pics.
My plane weighs 8lbs 9oz

2)no real issues most use cm6 spark plug
3)you will need a voltage regulator or diode if using 6.6v on ignition
4)I use a manua choke rod for choke servo not required. it's personal preferrence

The DLE20 won't fit in cowl with stock muffler, You may be able get a JTEC wrap around pitts to fit.

Maidened my plane today and flyes like a dream.
Motor is running great and plane has no bad habits 10ft take offs

My Escapade is coming along , Have the DLE20 mounted and servos in.
Waiting on carbon fiber gear to give better prop clearence for 17" prop.

What the largest prop you can run and still have good ground clearance 1 1/2" or so.
Want to get all my parts together for my build.

Ordered my Escapade yesturday, Now to make up my mind on engine have NIB 75ax and 120ax
But I'm thinking I might sell the 120 ax $225 and go gas and get a dle20.
Any body using a dle20 on...

I' don't have the plane yet to look at so I'll keep my finger crossed that it's upgraded.
I don't want to fly it with an unsafe hub.
When did they start making motors with the new hubs.

Am I follow this thread right? If I have the four bolt prop hub ,I have the improved stronger hub.
I'm in the process of buying a plane with this motor in it.
Also How do I know what prop drill ...

Just got and old version Tmaxx with .15 motor and was wondering if the truck should pull a wheelie.It seems to run fine but I can't pull the wheels off ground.Is there something I can do to get more...
