2 was two yeas but all the rx connector wires came unsoldered. I put them back the right way but something must of been touching. Castle Creations wants $45 to fix it plus i have to pay shipping and wait 4-6 weeks till its done, and i have no way to drive till its done. So I figured $58 aint bad for something better and brand new.

ooh ya, trust me, electronics over time wear out, solder joints get bad..... it should be alot nicer, i hear the 25 had "cogging" problems (aka stuttering), i can't really get my motor to cog unless its at some redicilously stupidly low speed and even then its not an issue (im not rock crawling [&:]), one of these days i will get some images of our track up, maybe even my truggy vs my mini , well, the mini needs a new "diff case" the one on there's STRIPED OUT, i can't go more than 2 mins without the ballstud pullling out/loosing my dogbone [:'(]

Yeah it had bad cogging problems. I didn't want the open esc again like you have protection from the natural element is key since I run mine without body alot. You can fix the diff cases by puting some Perfect Glue 1 Liquid Nails on the ball stud u can get the glue at local hardware store works great. Im doing the same thing with diff cases and rear a arms till i get my order.

ya, well see, maybe some trusty CA glue can help , a new diff case is cheap and the LHS is a 5-minute bike ride away [8D]

If you only knew what it would cost to make a Titanium diff case, like maybe $75, you wouldn't suggest such a thing. Aluminum is comparatively cheap to work with and manufacture parts out of.

ahaaa, at least they're staggered, the mini's sitting in the garage with 1/2 the track's mud on the wing the duratrax vendetta wing with the 18B wing mounts (CA'd on) works great[8D]

Wouldn't it be easier to bolt it on like it's supposed to be?

I wouldn't think CA glue would hold that well. I understand it though sometimes you go half crazy trying to get things to go on right.

i dont know if i would bash one. but for racing on/offroad it would be a good thing. graphite is very strong but kinda brittle. it takes alot to break it but it will crack instead of bend like plastic. for racing its good because it will stiffen the chassis making your suspension do the work which will usually make it more predictable.
i plan to eventually get an exotek chassis for mine.

not a fan of aluminum. i went down that road on my 1/10ths. its very strong. but when it bends its hard to straighten it back to its original shape. then it bends in the same spot again. till it breaks. my t-max aluminum chassis is all tweaked from trying to make it fly like a plane! id say for bashin run the stock plastic. for racing use a graphite, and aluminum for show
