Oh eddy,
just my honest opinion, but C140ex performance condensed into a smaller package that you can put significantly cheaper Pro set-up in sounds like a very inviting prospect to me, and would imagine even more so to people who want a C140ex, but cant afford it. Would probably make a better back-up model for a 140ex than the little c50 also.
Only other competition it has are the Adrenaline and Synergy, both of which are ARTFs, which i for one dont really like.
I however will reserve judgement until i see one flying better than the C50. A big improvement in prop hang stability and all-round precision over the C50 would have me saving.

Well looks like we are all impressed. But I understand Ians view. I wouldn't mind a C90 if its like the C50 in terms of build. Of course I'll have to see the cost etc. But after helping out a friend with a second hand Adrenaline he bought of someone with a YS 91. The power of the 91 was quite astounding and the size was handy too.
Plug in wings makes things easier. I wonder if you could mod to have plug in tail and fin too.
It seems good, can't till Sandown. Less than a month away!!!
Hope to see you all there. I'll be instantly spottable as a crazy person.

keeping quiet was the hardest thing ! [:@]
I havent flown a 140, only the 50, but in my opinion its significantly better than the 50. For instance prop hangng is sooooo much easier than it was with the 50.
The Barron and The Boy plan to come and have a test fly next week weather permitting, so hopefully they will be able to give you some feedback as to how it compares to the 140. Should be interesting.

Yep Ultimate. "Smacked it", as they say in slang which I never use here in East London.
In fact everyone involved with C90....."smacked it!"

sounds good to me, C140 is too big and expensive for me and C50 is too small to fly easily (maybe have not flown mine yet!) I guess 7.5 lbs would be okay, my synergy weighs 7lb 2oz and goes up like a rocket on an OS91FX and mini pipe, prop hangs at 1/3 throttle, high alpha knife edge at 3 clicks above idle, it cost £350. My C50 cost £212 with covering, glue and carbon accessories and I still had to build and cover it. Wonder what the C90 will cost? Best thing about building yourself is being able to make sure it is glued up properly but I have to say the synergy was glued up just fine.

I would really like to own one of these... I have a new 110 and top of the line servos that have been awaiting the new Epsilon now for four months... What is the likelyhood of this C90 coming into production?

Well, if alot of people like it then it will be kitted. I don't think they'll go ARF with this one by any chance.
I'm waiting till Sandown Model Symposium 2004, probably then if the public like what they see when it goes for a display, then it will hopefully be kitted.

Just finishing mine now.
I am going to try a YS 63S!!! It looks like I can get the model sub 7 lbs and I have just run up my new 63s on a 15 x4 wide on 30 nitro it kicked out a VERY impressive 9,300 on its first tank.
Just love those YS,s

YS63? That will be interesting. If it works upgrading from a C50 to C90 will be a piece of codcake.
Especially since I have seen people use S3004s in Adrenalines with no problems....
