Shame you live so far away, I would take you for a B with it (some common sense is required with regard to the electric ruling!)
also it did not look tail down on the video just tail heavy!! unless you were snatching the elevator in the turns. i would bet its tail heavy

Thats exactly what I thought about the B, some common sense is needed.
The elervator was a bit snatchy, but I think that was because I had too much throw, But I will move the batteries forward about 2cm to see if that helps. After I've reduced the throw.

Good stuff Foof, nice one
Can't see what the problem with the B is, it is more about safe operation and flying than the A, so starting an ic engine surely is not an issue.

Flew the smaragd is some quite high winds yesterday and she was fine, kicked a little once with the gusts, but apart from that she didn't notice it all. For the whole flight she didn't feel as good as the flight before, sometimes the elevator was too sensistive, however I tried a snap roll which almost caused her too stop so I think more speed is needed.
However when I landed I found one of the batteries had come out and fallen backwards giving me a really far back CG. So that was cause of the irractic flying.
But in all a good flight.
