oh and I forgot to mention... make sure it is a tail "touch" and not a tail "smack". I haven't done this myself but I have a few friends that have stripped the servo out on the rudder when it got folded back from a "smack" only to find they have no rudder at all or it is completely cocked and ended up doing a hammerhead straight into the ground. That's always fun!

this is about as comfortable as I felt with my U-can-Do yesterday. Just couldnt bring my self to touch it. about 7 feet was the lowest.. I figured if i decided to touch it the grass there was high enough that if i blew it there would be minimal damage

Dude,
That is one of the funniest things I've seen in one of these forums. LOL for about 3 minutes.

Coming out of a low inverted harrier into TR and I purposly slid the tail in the soft dust since I knew it wouldn't catch.

I don't take pics of my planes (too lazy) but two weeks ago my buddy snapped some while I was flying.

It took a lot of aileron to hold the plane steady for the shot. The F90 loves to TR with a 17x6 prop

Like I said earlier to the original poster, lean it into a LIGHT, STEADY breeze if you don't want to TR.

a little left aileron will get it rolling. ive had it going so fast with my Jumping Jack that i didnt even need to use elevator no more just rudder for corrections. does the same with my ucando and my cap maniac.. when it gets spinning a certain speed it seems like just rudder corrections are all needed untill you get out of sequence on your corrections. i dont do that near deck yet just slow prop induced torque rolls.. it was rolling in the pics i posted.

Hey Felix! I hope to come out to Bayside this weekend since I got the Edge mostly ready to test out again, and I'll check the CG. Hope to see you there!

cool brandom, hope u can fly ur edge next weekend, its really cool to see u do those 3d so close to the ground, just dont get too confident too fast, go little by little... what ameses me the most is how u do those rolling harrier in almost 100% stall condition at 2 feet of the ground (runway lenghtwise), not even i can do that, the lowest i can go is 3 feet of the ground but not is stall condition, well, ill bring my camera to take some pics next weekend..

well guys, i have a question for all of u...

whats the fastes uve got a plane torke rolling??

i sometimes when i tr, i apply a little left aileron and hold it there, and with some power bust, it will torke roll like 3-4 full rolls every 2 seconds, this is so fast i cant even do the proper corrections, the most i got out ot it was maybe 5-8 rolls before i piss in my pants and applyed full power to abort, can get really scary sometimes....

The Edge will tork really fast when you want it to, as I've held full left aileron and blipped the power continuously and it can get up pretty fast, but I have to be careful because once it is in there it takes a while to stop with aileron only, so you kind of have to lean it into the wind.

Hope to see you next weekend,
Brandon

DP Ultimate 120 is the fastest torqing machine I've flown. I can torque up to once per secone WITHOUT aileron input. I will try aileron input

Wow that's fast! Probably because of short wings with not as much surface to resist the force of torque?
