Default Duel Elavator servo setup...Need help

According to Hitec I cant mix it out on my radio, when I try to one servo has more travel then the other and I can only trim one elavator half not both.
If I use a Y adapter then I have to reverse the hardware on one side and it wasnt desighned to be that way and id prefer to avoid doing it like that at all costs.

Theres got to be somebody else besides me who has a showtime or anyplane for that matter with duel elevator servos, that uses a Hitec radio.

Please anyhelp would be so very much appreciated.

You could get a reverse Y harness. If I was doing it though I would turn one of the servos around. The linkage will need to be a little longer but that wont hurt it. I guess buying a 9c is out of the question? LOL

NOT SURE OF WHAT RADIO YOU HAVE BUT A Y HARNESS IS YOUR BEST BET A SLOW SERVO MIGHT BE BECOUSE OF A WEAK BATTERY SHOULD RUN A 6 VOLT BATTERY ON ANY HIGH PERFORMANCE PLANE OR REVERSE ONE SERVO IN THE PLANE HAVE RUN MANY DUAL SERVOS ON ELVATORS , COULD BE A BAD SERVO // CHANGE IT OUT FOR ANOTHER ONE AND TRY AGIAN GOOD LUCK

why is everybody yelling in these forms????
If you turn one servo around the linkage won't match, the travel will not be the same on both servos and the plane will roll out of a pullout from a dive or will cork screw a loop.
You need to use a reversing y or a HT programer.

whats the exact problem dealspeed? your post really dont say what your trying to mix out, is it that the halfs react at diffrent rates or one goes farther than the other?

or did you really mean to say "mix it in" and not out

This is a common scam that all radio MFR's force us into a 9 channel tx to just control a dual elevator setup. IF you can't get you tx to do it this is the best reverser on the market.

Bassicly My radio cannot be setup for duel elevator servos, I messed with last night for over an hour.
Heres what happenes, I go into my mixing options and set a slave channel to my elevator, I chose channel 5 then later used 6 (didnt seem to matter what channel i slaved)
Then after i did that I went and reversed the slave servo which was controling the left elevator half, so both were moving the right direction after doing that.
The problem is when i go to trim out my elevator only the right half trims out, that left half(the slaved half) dose not trim out, plus the the slaved half only has about 3/4 the amount of throw of the right half, my hardware settings are exactly the same.

At this point im just gonna have to go buy a reverser, seems stupid that the Eclipse 7 cant even do something as simple as duel elevator servos.
Thanks for all the help guys always appreciated [8D]

Dealspeed,,

Do you have a way of linking your mix together,,on a Futaba,,you use ch,,1 and 6,then you have to link the 2 together to make the trims work.

Hi With My JR Radio You Have To Mate The CHs Together Before The Trims Will Work Together Then Your Should Show A Left & Right Elv. Then You Can Set Your Throw & Travel Adj

You can turn one servo around and have the linkage work correctly. Tailstrike is mistaken. Many planes have the ELEV servos at different distances from the tail. I have a QQ Yak. The servo openings are offset from the factory. There is not enough room in the fuse to have the servos directly across from each other. The bottom of the cases would hit. As long as the arms are positioned the same on the servos and the geometry is correct. The halves will move the same. The reversing Y would save you from changing the linkage but either would work.

If you read the other thread you started on here, I tell you how to mix it with the Eclipse 7.

Sounds to me like you have a travel issue with channel 6, I think it will have to be trimed with the channel 6 knob, you need to go in and match your travel volumes first and then center your #6 knob, also as said before you must have your mix activated either by computer or switch. All the dual rates and travel volumes have to be equalized, before you even start, check the expo too.
